Dreamstand helps kids turn their ideas into little businesses. Because we build for children, we collect as little as possible, keep it private, and never sell it or use it to advertise to kids. A parent or guardian is always in control.

Who has an account

Only adults (18+) create accounts. A parent/guardian sets up the family. Children under 13 do not have their own login — they use Dreamstand alongside their grown-up. A young founder aged 13–17 may have their own supervised login that the guardian creates and oversees.

What we collect

• Guardian account: your email and password (used to sign in).
• Each child: a first name or nickname, an avatar emoji, and an age group. We do not collect a child's full name, birthday, address, school, phone, or photo.
• Their business: the ideas, plans, prices, “Brave Tries,” lessons, and orders they enter.
• Payment handles you choose to add (like a Venmo username) so they appear on your child's flyers. Dreamstand never processes or holds money.
• Coach messages your child exchanges with our AI coach, which you can review at any time.
• Consent records noting that a guardian agreed to set up the account and each child.

Parental consent (COPPA)

For children under 13, the parent/guardian provides consent when creating the account and when adding each child. You can review your child's information and activity, and you can delete a child or your whole family's data at any time from the grown-up dashboard.

The AI coach

“Sunny,” our coach, is powered by Anthropic's Claude. To answer, the messages and a little business context are sent to Anthropic to generate a reply. The coach is kept kid-safe and is instructed never to ask a child for personal information.

Who we share with

We use a small number of service providers to run Dreamstand: Supabase (secure database and sign-in), Anthropic (the AI coach), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (sending the occasional account email, such as a password reset). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Optional tools you choose to open — like Canva, VistaPrint, or our website builder — are separate services with their own policies; use them with a grown-up.

Public “Stand Pages”

A guardian may choose to publish a shareable page for a child's business. That page shows only the child's first name, the business, what it offers, and the price — never a location, contact information, or photo. You can take it down anytime.

Keeping it safe & your choices

Access is protected so families only see their own data. You can edit or remove a child, or delete your entire account and all of its data, from the grown-up dashboard. To reach us about privacy, email support@unitedundergod.org.
