Dreamstand helps kids turn their ideas into little businesses. Because it is built for children, a parent or guardian is in charge from the start. We collect as little as we can, keep it private, and never sell it or use it to advertise to kids.

Parents sign kids up. Kids can't sign themselves up.

Only a parent or guardian who is 18 or older can create a Dreamstand account. There is no way for a child to create their own account. If a child opens the sign-up page, we ask them to get a parent to set them up.

Once signed in, the parent adds each child and chooses what access that child gets:

• With me only. The child has no login of their own. They use Dreamstand next to the parent, signed in as the parent.
• Their own kid login. The parent makes up a username and password for the child. That login is tied to the parent's account, has no email address, and can't open the grown-up area (approvals, adding payment details, account settings, deleting the account).

Either way, anything that would leave the family, such as publishing a public stand page, waits for the parent's approval. The parent can change a child's access at any time from the grown-up dashboard.

Parent consent and what we record about it

When a parent creates the account, adds a child, or changes a child's access, we save a consent record that shows which parent account gave consent, the date and time, the version of the consent wording they agreed to, and the access level they chose. Parents can see their consent records on the grown-up dashboard.

What we collect

• Parent account: your email address, your password (we never store it in readable form), and the name you give us.
• Each child: a first name or nickname, an avatar emoji, and an age group (such as “8–10”). If you give them their own kid login, also the username and password you choose for them.
• What they enter about their business: ideas, plans, prices and costs, money goals and money-jar entries, “Brave Tries,” lessons, how a try felt, and orders (including the customer name your child types for each order).
• Coach messages your child exchanges with Sunny, our AI coach. You can read every message.
• Payment handles you choose to add (like a Venmo username) so they appear on your child's flyers. Dreamstand never takes or holds money.
• Consent records, as described above.
• Password reset requests: a scrambled one-time code and the internet (IP) address the request came from, to stop abuse.
• Reports that anyone sends about a public stand page: the reason and any note they write.
• Basic site usage: which page was viewed, the page you came from, any campaign tags in the link, and a random ID kept in your browser. This does not include names, emails, or anything typed into the app, and it is turned off if your browser sends “Do Not Track.”

We do not ask for a child's full name, birthday, address, school, phone number, email, photo, or location.

Your rights as a parent

From the grown-up dashboard you can, at any time:

• See everything your child has entered, including every coach message.
• Change your child's access, reset their kid-login password, or remove their kid login.
• Edit or delete a child, which deletes all of that child's data.
• Delete your whole account, which deletes all of your family's data.

You can also email us to ask what we hold about your child, to have it deleted, or to stop any further collection. We will need to confirm you are the parent on the account first.

The AI coach

“Sunny” is powered by Anthropic's Claude. To reply, your child's messages and a little context about their business are sent to Anthropic. The coach is instructed to stay kid-safe and never to ask a child for personal information.

Who we share with

We use a small number of service providers to run Dreamstand: Supabase (database and sign-in), Anthropic (the AI coach), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (account emails such as a password reset). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Optional tools you choose to open, like Canva, VistaPrint, or the website builder at ai-website.design, are separate services with their own policies. Only the parent's view can open the website builder; when you do, your child's first name or nickname and the business name, description, and price are passed to it so the site starts filled in. A kid login can only ask you for it.

Public “Stand Pages”

Only a parent can publish a stand page for a child's business. It shows only the child's first name or nickname, the business name, what it offers, and the price, never a location, contact details, or photo. You can take it down any time.

Keeping it safe

Access is locked down so each family sees only its own data, and a kid login reaches only its own child's stand.
